Mind-map of ideas- initial planning

Below are some of the initial planning that I caried out to help me narrow down my area of study



my mind map gives me my first ideas of what to concentrate my project on giving a broad topic of sustainability in businesses and then focusing on different businesses. After this, I finalised that my area of research for my topic would be sustainability in schools.

this feedback gives a feel for the ideas in my mind map. this gives an idea of where to go next to start my research  and help me with deciding what types or research are the best for my project.

from here, i am planning to start my research, firstly focusing on the secondary research element  where i will aim to find the regulations surrounding the sustainability of schools and then moving on to my focus on the ways i can carry out primary research, withy my current focus on having a meeting with the business manager in school, Mr Jones.

from here forward i am hoping to finish my project by between Xmas and February 2022/23.

Below are the links to our school's Display Energy Certificate (DEC). Using the DEC is an accurate form of primary research as this is a publicly available government document. The DEC is document publishing the results of an energy usage document carried out once a year by an external contractor. This certificate gives an overall score of the energy usage, with 100 being the average.
